'Twilight' Star Nikki Reed & 'Idol' Paul McDonald Get Engaged!

Last night as they walked down the red carpet, Nikki Reed from Twilight and Paul McDonald from American Idol had a lot to smile about. By that we mean the sparkly new bling on her left hand!

Nikki told E! News, "He's the one." A source also confirmed to E! that they are definitely engaged. Plus, Nikki dished about something Paul does oh-so-well.

The singer who made it to the top 8 of the most recent season of Idol is already writing songs in honor of his bride-to-be. "He says he's going to release a Nikki Reed EP," she gushed.

Actually, right after his Idol elmination Paul dished to OK! when he stopped by our offices. “Nikki’s great. She’s supportive of me being creative and that kind of stuff....I have been writing a bunch of material, and she’s a fan.”
