The Los Angeles Times, citing anonymous law enforcement sources, reports that two police officers in California have been assigned to home leave while an internal investigation looks into how a picture of a bruised and battered Rihanna, after she was beaten by Chris Brown, was leaked to TMZ.com.

According to the report, nine-year veteran Rebecca M. Reyes, of the Wilshire Division of the LAPD and rookie officer Blanca Lopez, of the Hollenbeck Division, have been put on leave. The two were housemates.
