NEWSTwo Police Officers Indicted in Rihanna Photo Leak

The Los Angeles Times, citing anonymous law enforcement sources, reports that two police officers in California have been assigned to home leave while an internal investigation looks into how a picture of a bruised and battered Rihanna, after she was beaten by Chris Brown, was leaked to TMZ.com.
According to the report, nine-year veteran Rebecca M. Reyes, of the Wilshire Division of the LAPD and rookie officer Blanca Lopez, of the Hollenbeck Division, have been put on leave. The two were housemates.

The police sources requested anonymity because the investigation was ongoing. It's a misdemeanor for law enforcement officers or civilian employees of police agencies to profit by leaking confidential material.
