U2 Taking the Stage to Perform at 'American Idol' Finale!

Bono and the gang are getting ready to take on the American Idol stage! U2 has confirmed they will be special musical guests at Wednesday's star-studded Idol finale.

"We've got Idol rehearsal tomorrow, maybe that's supposed to be a secret," manager Paul McGuiness told Billboard yesterday backstage at the Billboard Music Awards. "Then, yes, the Idol finale is Wednesday."

The Irish rock group took home the Best Touring Band award at  last night's ceremony.

"It's more important to be the best rather than the biggest," their manager said, commenting on U2's win. "But I think they've managed to be both."
