Ellen DeGeneres tried to get as much as she could out of Vanessa Hudgens on her dating life, but the actress isn't willing to admit yet that she's dating anyone else after her split from Zac Efron.

On The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Vanessa told Ellen she had been dating her High School Musical co-star Zac for five years before they decided to split in December.

"After being in a relationship with someone that long, you stay friends," Vanessa explained.
And despite photos of Vanessa with her Journey 2: The Myseterious Island co-star Josh Hutcherson, Vanessa told Ellen, "I'm single."
So what about the photos then?
"Can't a girl have friends? Vanessa asked.
