VH1 Cancels Chad Johnson's Reality Show in the Wake of Domestic Violence Charge

It looks like Chad "The player formerly known as Ochocinco" Johnson's problems are just beginning. Over the weekend, the Miami Dolphins player and Dancing with the Stars season 10 alum, was arrested for allegedly head-butting his wife of just five weeks Evelyn Lozada, star of Basketball Wives, during a heated argument.

Chad has been charged with misdemeanor domestic violence in Florida and has been released on $2,500 bail.
According to the Associated Press, the couple got into a fight when she found a receipt for a box of condoms in his car.
Evelyn was taken to the hospital and was treated for a "pretty good-sized" laceration, police Capt. Dale Engle tells NFL.com.

After the alleged incident took place, the 34-year-old learned his contract with the Dolphins had been terminated.

But that's not all.
VH1 has now canceled his reality show, Ev & Ocho, due to the situation.
"Due to the unfortunate events over the past weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series 'Ev & Ocho' from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it," a network spokesperson tells Us Weekly.
