Avril Lavigne is gearing up for a big year in her career. The songstress has released "Alice," the title song off the soundtrack for Tim Burton's highly anticipated film, Alice in Wonderland.
On Monday, Avril told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS radio show that Tim Burton approached her while she was at Disney studios discussing her line of clothing, Abbey Dawn, which is geared toward the film.
"I wrote the song immediately because I was so inspired while designing for the movie, so I had the image in my mind,” she said. “I played the song for Tim and he loved it. It was all because I was designing the clothing... I’m super honored to be part of the project.”
