NEWSVIDEO: Chris Brown Breaks Down During MJ BET Tribute

Chris Brown gave a moving performance Sunday night honoring the late great King of Pop, Michael Jackson, onstage during the 2010 BET Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium in L.A. Chris, who like many musicians considered MJ an idol and inspiration, broke down on stage during the tribute.
The standout moment of the ceremony last night came when Chris broke down and blubbered his way through a tribute to MJ.
Even celebs turned to their Twitters, praising Chris's emotional performance.
"Wow @ChrisBrown did such an amazing MJ tribute performance at the BET Awards! So emotional and deep...Amazing job!" Kim Kardashian Tweeted.

Chris has been maintaining a low profile since his highly-publicized assault of ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. In the wake of the Rihanna incident, Chris did not attend the 2009 BET Awards show.

Last night's show also featured a stage comeback from Kanye West, in his first awards show performance since his infamous interruption of Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards .
T.I. also attended, after being absent from the public eye due to serving time in prison.
