While one door re-opens for Jay Leno, who is set to return to his regular time slot on NBC this year, Conan O’Brien took a final bow on the Tonight Show on Friday night and made sure to go out laughing like always.
The funny man, who replaced Jay at 11:35 and was then taken off the air to make room for the car-collecting host to return, said a sad goodbye to his audience by cracking jokes about the network and what they would do with his big, brand new studio once he's gone.

Unfortunately, E! Online reports that Jay won over the ratings even on Conan’s final night with his earlier Tonight Show at 10 PM.
And while many fans are outraged by Conan’s departure from NBC, Jay is set to resume his reign on March 1, 2010.
In the meantime, Conan is reportedly receiving $45 million for himself and his staff to leave the network.
