Be honest. When we tell you that Britney Spears is appearing in a new MTV documentary, sharing all her innermost thoughts about her hardships over the last two years, you're going to set your TiVo faster than Paris Hilton can say, "That's hot."

And that's exactly what the pop singer is doing. As her new album, Circus, gets ready to drop, Brit is telling all about what it's like being trailed by everyone from the media to the carnivorous paparazzi. The 90-minute documentary details her return to the pop music spotlight. Tentatively titled For the Record, the special is set to air on November 30 at 10 p.m. on MTV, two days before Brit's 27th birthday on December 2.

"So much has gone on over the last couple of years and there's a lot that people don't know about me that I want them to know," Britney told MTV News in a statement about the new show. "I wanted to make this film because I started to feel like I wasn't being seen in the light that I wanted to be seen in. This is an opportunity to set the record straight and talk about what I've been through and where I'm headed."
