
VIDEO: Katy Perry Premiere's "California Gurls" in "Candyfornia"

Katy Perry's "California Gurls" music has finally been released, but it comes with a warning from Katy. "It's definitely something to watch when you have the munchies," Katy told MTV News. "It's all edible."

"We named it 'Candyfornia' instead of 'California,' so it's a different world," Katy told MTV News about the concept for her video. "It's not just like, 'Oh, let's go to the beach and throw a party and then shoot a music video!' It's more like, 'Let's put us California Gurls in a whole different world!'
But it's a world that she thinks everyone will want to be in!

"The boys always dream about dating a California Gurl ... just because we've got the sun shining 365 days a year," she said. "And I love New York girls. I think they're hot, and I think they have a lot of attitude. But I'm telling you, when it comes wintertime, they're all gonna be singing 'California Gurls.' "
