Adam Mansbach wrote a children's book to which many parents can probably relate, at some point, titled, "Go the F**k to Sleep."
Samuel is one of those parents.
"I was anxious to do the audio read of this book because my agent has twins and when he gave me the book I read it and I fell out laughing," Samuel explains in the recording (via Huffington Post). "I remember all those times when I did read to my daughter when she was that age. Everybody tells you reading stories will put kids to sleep, but it never works. It didn't work in my house."
"I did say 'go the f*** to sleep' to her a lot. I think at some point she would look at me when I would come in her room, and she'd say, 'Go the f*** to sleep, Daddy?' " And I'd say, 'Yeah, go the f*** to sleep.' "
