While won't announce comedian as the newest co-host of The View until Monday, OK! has already spoken with Sherri's future co-workers. Still playing a bit coy, the always-chipper tells OK!, “I don’t really know exactly what’s going on, but if that were true it would be good news. I love Sherri!” was also keeping any information close to the vest. “I have no idea,” she tells OK! “My lips are sealed.”

Sherri has played co-host several times in recent months, often fueling speculation that she was being groomed to take over the spot vacated by in the summer of 2006. However, those rumors appeared to lose steam in July when was named as a co-host. Still, with the seat left vacant by 's departure at the end of last season, there is room at the table.
