The Olympics may have ended on Sunday, but we are still obsessed with all things Fierce Five! The U.S. Women's Gymnastics team secured a place in America's hearts, as well as several famous fans, including Duchess Kate Middleton, Michelle Obama, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder. They can also add Jersey Shore's Vinny Guadagnino to that list!

OK! caught up with Vinny at Mt. Airy Casino Resort in Mount Pocono, Pa. just before the Olympics ended, and he confessed that they were a bit of an obsession of his recently. His favorite event? Women's Gymnastics! He tried to explain just what was so fascinating about the Fierce Five.
"I mean, I also watched the basketball — I'm a big basketball fan, but I fall asleep watching it and I'm a huge NBA fan. But with the Women's Gymnastics, I'm glued to the TV. It's the only time of the year you ever see them. The rest of the year, you never see them, you don't know who these people are, and then all of a sudden, they're like, heroes."

Unlike with some other sports, a gymnastics routine can go drastically wrong in a split second, which Vinny says adds intensity to the viewing experience.
"Like, the swimming, it's interesting, but if you lose in swimming, you were just slow. If you lose in gymnastics, you can crack your head open or something," he said, marveling at the tricks the girls pull off so effortlessly.
We were just as impressed with America's Fierce Five — but it looks like Jordyn Wieber, Gabby Douglas, Aly Raisman, Kyla Ross and McKayla Maroney are handling their newfound fame with the same grace they use in their routines. The girls appeared on the Today Show this morning to hang out with Nicki Minaj and answer questions from fans, who are already hoping to see the Fierce Five back for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Aly and McKayla were the most forthcoming, saying they were "definitely" already thinking about competing again.
