Washington Capitals Celebrate Stanley Cup Win At Hakassan Night Club In Las Vegas
June 18 2018, Updated 8:49 p.m. ET
Even though the Washington Capitals couldn’t be in their hometown to celebrate their historic Stanley Cup Finals win, it wasn’t so bad being in Las Vegas either. Just hours after the team won their first Stanley Cup after 43 years in the league, the team celebrated by heading to Hakkasan Nightclub in Las Vegas, where they raged all night.
The team, led by Captain Alex Ovechkin, entered the MGM Grand club at 1 a.m., Stanley Cup in hand. Alex hoisted it overhead as he and his team made their way to their two VIP tables. He later brought it over to the DJ booth, where legendary DJ Tiesto was dropping beats.

Alex even got the crowd to join in a “Let’s Go Caps” chant, despite the fact that he’d just beaten the home team, the Las Vegas Knights.
Fellow Caps players Braden Holtby, T.J. Oshie, and Brooks Orpik, were also on hand for the epic celebration.
