They basked in the sun and splashed around in the surf, proving that celebrity vacations are just as paradisal as they seem—until the disaster that is a paparazzi-enhanced, almost-drowning situation occurs.

OK so, do you remember this picture? You've got to! Basically, the entire world thought that Anne got pulled into a riptide and was screaming for her life. But as it turns out, that's not exactly the most accurate report. While it surely looks like Anne is struggling to keep her head above the waves (we were convinced, too), the celeb told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that she was just telling her husband about the cameras snapping pictures. Anne, who apparently was just stuck in one place about 500 yards off of the shore, says that face of pure distress is just her yelling, "NOOOOO."
