The Transformers film has moved from land to sea. The first trailer for Battleship has just been released and it seems strangely familiar.

Universal Pictures released Peter Berg's new film, Battleship, which is loosely based on the classic Hasbro board game.
In the trailer (via Coming Soon), the action is intense as a hot cast battles a superior force. Battleship stars Taylor Kitsch, Brooklyn Decker, Alexander Skarsgård, Rihanna and Liam Neeson.

The film is set to hit theaters May 18, 2012.
