The next movie up for humanitarian Ben Affleck is the historical drama, Argo, the untold story revolving around the Iran hostage crisis, which began in November of 1979 and ended in January of 1981.

The flick follows six American hostages who managed to escape and take refuge at the home of a Canadian ambassador. Fearing the six will be discovered and killed, Ben — who plays a CIA “exfiltration” specialist named Tony Mendez — cooks up a scheme to shoot a fake movie in the country and smuggle out the escaped hostages. But will it work?
