Pixar is getting "brave" by finally featuring a female lead in their upcoming film, appropriately titled Brave.

The first teaser trailer for Disney Pixar's 2012 film, Brave, has been released.

According to Huffington Post, Merida, a Scottish warrior princess, will be the first female lead of a Pixar film. Kelly Macdonald voices the princess while Emma Thompson, Julie Walters, Billy Connolly and Craig Ferguson also lend their talents to the film.
