Chelsea Kane and partner Mark Ballas did not receive the feedback they were hoping for after their out-of-the box jive performance last night on Dancing With the Stars. It seems the duo went too far with their characters, losing sight of the dance and praise from the judges.
"I love choreography like that," Judge Carrie Ann Inaba admitted. "But there's a time and a place for it and I don't think it was right now."

Len Goodman agreed, viewing the dance as distracting and lacking in actual jive technique.
"Too much messing about and larking around," he warned.
As for Bruno Tonioli, he compared it to some famous literary works.
"It was like Marcel Marceau desperately seeking Lolita in A Clockwork Orange," he said.
