The buzz is still raging surrounding Christina Aguilera's lyrics flub during her National Anthem performance Sunday at Super Bowl XLV. And it's no surprise that late night TV hero Conan O'Brien used her mix-up as part of his opening monologue.
"Everyone is talking about how Christina Aguilera screwed up the lyrics to the National Anthem," Conan joked. "Some people noticed the flub right away, and they were not happy."
Then Coco preceded to show a clip of Christina singing the wrong lyrics as noisy jets flew over her head. One of the jets plummeted right into the singer, an explosion ensued and she vanished.
"That's a gutsy pilot to make that decision!" O'Brien laughed after showing his audience the clip.

Conan's pal Andy Richter joined in on the Christina-bashing, quipping, "I read on the Internet that was for Burlesque. It had nothing to do with the words."
On Monday, Christina spoke out about her mistake and explained, “I got so caught up in the moment of the song that I lost my place. I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through.”
Conan also took a jab at the Black Eyed Peas saying even worse then Christina singing the wrong words to the National Anthem, was "the Black Eyed Peas sang their songs exactly right."
