Ellen DeGeneres has had Selena Gomez on her show and says she feels like they're pretty good friends now. But back in September when Ellen asked Selena if she was dating Justin Bieber, Selena didn't tell Ellen the whole truth and made Ellen a "fool!"

"He's little. He's like my little brother," Selena told Ellen during her September interview when asked about the rumors she was dating The Biebs.
"He's like your little brother?" Ellen quoted back to Selena on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday. "What do you have to say now?"
"I don't know. I don't know," Selena said while laughing.
"Well, you were trying to hide it still, right? But now you've made it public," Ellen said. "You went to the Vanity Fair party together and made me a fool."
"No, I really didn't," Selena said while still laughing.

"Yes, you did!!" Ellen argued.
"I promise you, I didn't," Selena replied. "He's just sweet."
"He is," Ellen agreed. "He's sweet as can be. But he's not like your little brother, is he? No, he's not. And he's a fantastic guy. You can't try to hide that forever."

"I know you all were sneaking around but that's crazy," Ellen added. "You're both huge stars, and you can't hide from us."
"I didn't lie to you," Selena argued. "I didn't, though. I'll say that."
"No, you didn't blatantly lie." Ellen agreed. "A little brother is not someone you want to date."
"Well, no," Selena said. "That would be weird."
But Ellen didn't hold a grudge against Selena and even gave her a special present to have while she's apart from The Biebs.
