The first trailer for the remake of Footloose is finally here, featuring newcomer Kenny Wormald and Julianne Hough!
OK! NEWS: FOOTLOOSE FINDS NEWCOMER KENNY WORMALD
MTV's News premiered the first trailer for the remake of the 1984 film.
Kenny stars as Ren McCormack, who moves from Boston to a small southern town called Bomont.
The town previously suffered a tragedy when five teenagers were killed in a car accident after a night out dancing. Rev. Shaw Moore, played by Dennis Quaid, helped to implement ordinances that prohibit loud music and dancing in the community. But with the help of the minister's rebellious daughter Ariel, played by Julianne Hough, Ren challenges the ban.

Footloose is directed by Craig Brewer and is set for release on Oct. 14!
