We loved George Clooney in Up in the Air, so we have a very good feeling about his new film, The Descendants, after watching the new official trailer!

George plays a father who has to care for his two daughters after his wife is hospitalized in a boating accident, Huffington Post reports. His life gets even more complicated when his daughter reveals a secret about their family halfway into the trailer.

Already, The Descendants is receiving Oscar buzz since it has a similar nature to George's role in Up in the Air and comes from Oscar-winner Alexander Payne.

Also starring in the movie are Beau Bridges, Robert Forster and Shailene Woodley. Yes, the girl from The Secret Life of the American Teenager is now starring as George's daughter.

The Descendants is set to hit theaters this fall.
