Gwyneth Paltrow certainly didn't faint — like she was concerned she would — last night during her country music debut at the 44th Country Music Association Awards in Nashville. The Oscar Winner turned country crooner impressed the large audience with her vocals.
“She’s a great country singer because when it came out it was pure honesty. You know the thing about country music, it’s such an honest (kind of) music," Gwyn's Country Strong co-star Tim McGraw told OK! recently.
Tim and Leighton Meester, who also stars in the flick, presented the night's top honor, Entertainer of the Year, to host Brad Paisley!
Miranda Lambert also praised the A-list actress's country singing chops.
“Gwyneth is a great singer,” three-time CMA Award winner Miranda told OK!'s Valerie Nome. “I’ve never got to meet her, but she did a great job, and I think she’s probably really country, and I think she really seems very genuine, and can’t lose with Vince Gill. You can’t mess up if you’ve got that going.”
