Randy Jackson has been making his TV rounds talking about season 10 of American Idol. Last night, "The Dawg" stopped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and he wasn't leaving without performing some Journey with the host. To the delight of the audience, Jimmy Fallon and Randy added a third member to their jam session — latest American Idol castoff, James Durbin!

James led the guys in a stellar performance, proving his singing chops are very worthy of a career in the music industry.

Randy played bass during the song and Jimmy and James certainly had some fun collaborating on the lyrics.

Randy and Jimmy also took part in some obligatory Idol chatter.

"I thought actually this kid would go all the way," the judge said pointing at James' photo. "Sometimes I think the public forgets to vote. Every vote counts."

When Jimmy quipped that Randy was "really mean" to top three contestant Haley Reinhart, Randy explained himself.

"I just didn't like the song choice, I thought it was wrong for her," he shared. "I love all of these kids. Haley's so beautifully talented."

Jimmy also made a prediction on who would win season 10 — "Laruen Alaina. That's who's gonna win," the host said with conviction.
