Joe's first solo album, Fastlife, will be released next week and he explained to Today that he has the full support of his brothers, Kevin and Nick.
But was he nervous when he first asked the rest of the Jonas Brothers if he could go solo?
"I think so," Joe admitted to Ann Curry. "When we sat down together we were all trying to figure out what we were going to do for 2011 — it was like a year and a half ago — sat down with them and said, 'Guys, I would love to work on a project. Not sure for myself or for somebody else.' And I just kind of fell in to it. Started working with producers and writers and here I am today."
And now Joe is ready for the release of his solo album.
