Justin Bieber may be the newest prince of pop, but with the art of smooth love songs down, the 16-year-old singing sensation has decided to cross over — to rap!
Don't worry JB fanatics — there are more love songs like "Baby" to come. Justin isn't leaving his roots behind, rather embarking on new territory to prove himself capable of all genres.
"You guys might know me as the guy who sings 'Baby,'" Bieber raps at the end of his rap jam "Speaking in Tongues." "I'm a singer. I'm white. I just wanted to do this to prove I got skills on the rap game."
And for his new rap image, he needed a alter ego of course — meet Shawty Mane!
Justin, we mean Shawty, shared his rap ditty last night on Twitter and the jam is complete with shout-outs to Lady Gaga and JB's own mega-hit "Baby."
