Watch Kathy Griffin Explain Her Obsession With Sarah Palin: "She's So Funny"

Kathy Griffin loves to rip on Sarah Palin, but it's not because the comedienne has any personal issues with the former governor of Alaska. Kathy explained her obsession with the possible 2012 presidential candidate during her Kathy Griffin: Gurrl Down special last night on Bravo.

"It's just that they're so f****** funny," Kathy explained of why she loves to make fun of the Palin family.

Then the comedian shared a story with the amused crowd about how when she played a Sarah-like politician character on Glee, Sarah responded: "If Kathy Griffin wants to make fun of me ... she should come to Alaska and make fun of me."

And of course Kathy took her up on her word.

She said last night that she traveled to Alaska and knocked on Sarah's door, but unfortunately she wasn't home.
