Paparazzi, fans, local star-gazers, and tourists stopped traffic in Manhattan as Giants football star Justin Tuck held his 3rd Annual Celebrity Billiards Tournament last week to benefit youth literacy in New York and Alabama.

Even though their teams have a rivalry, New York Jets heartthrob quarterback Mark Sanchez was on hand to honor Justin and his charity along with Spike Lee, Padma Laskshmi, Petra Nemcova, Anthony Anderson, Tristan Wilds and Cedric the Entertainer — just to name a few!

The event marked Justin's 3rd Annual Celebrity Billiards Tournament which benefits Tuck's R.U.S.H for Literacy — a charity founded by the football star and his wife Lauran in 2008 which encourages and inspires children and teens in New York City and Justin’s home state of Alabama to read and continue their education.

Mark arrived in style to help his football rival — to the delight of female admirers who flanked the city streets to catch a glimpse of the action — and spoke his admiration for Justin, emphasizing that Tuck's R.U.S.H for Literacy “transcends playing football."

Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi spoke passionately about the need to support youth literacy and how books have the potential to expand the minds of young readers and open them up to a world of opportunity.

To date, the Tucks’ charity has donated more than 21,000 books to over 5,000 students!
