The American Idol judges are begging for an up-tempo song from Pia Toscano, but last night Pia sang another ballad. But you can't say she didn't sing Stevie Wonder's "All In Love Is Fair" amazingly well!

In a gorgeous black dress with a low back and high side slit, Pia took the stage firmly in front of her mic and sang her heart out during Motown week.

"Hello beautiful, Pia," Jennifer Lopez said after her performance. "So again you kill us with one of your killer ballads. I'm going to do the same thing that I did earlier. Amazing vocals beyond? Check. Beauty, image, look? Check. Feeling? Check."

"Okay, now if I'm going to give you any constructive criticism I need to now — because you can have a career like Celine Dion," J. Lo said. "Celine gets on that stage and she owns that stage, she walks all over that stage and she stomps that stage. We've seen you sit there three times and do a ballad and sing it that way and honestly just knock us over."

"Now I need you to start incorporating that other part, that other dynamic to your performance," she explained. "I know you can do it we just need to see it."

And Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler agreed with Jennifer.

Randy said, "You can't live by ballads alone."

"I think that right now you are the closest star in this American Idol universe," Steven said. "It's just beautiful."
