Two men were arguing in the middle of the intersection near St. Marks' Place in the East Village over a painting and onlookers tried to intervene and stop the fight, E! News reports. Amongst them was Ryan!

Wearing the blue striped tank-top, Ryan stepped in and pulled the men apart.
Pedestrians quickly realized the Good Samaritan was "the guy from the movie... The Notebook!"
