“I feel like my fans need the song right now,” Selena shared with Ryan Seacrest Tuesday, when she debuted the full single on his radio show. “Twitter and Facebook are really negative for me… within that world is such easy access to people’s feelings,” adding, “basically it’s to the haters — the people trying to bring you down,” the 18-year-old singer explained.
