The newly-single Vanessa Hudgens is a bit of a wild child. The 21-year-old actress debuted a new tattoo on Live With Regis and Kelly this morning, proudly showing the hosts a freshly-inked, small green and purple butterfly on her neck!
"I understand that you got the inevitable tattoo. I worry about those. Now, where is this tattoo?" Regis Philbin asked the star, who stopped by to promote her new film, Beastly.
"I'm very excited about it. I just got it. It's hard to ... it's right there," Vanessa said, removing her hair off her neck to reveal her new ink.

Last night on The Late Show With David Letterman, Vanessa told Dave the tattoo was inspired by a moment where a butterfly landed on her mother's stomach a week before she was born, and by her name, which is a "Latin derivative" of the word "butterfly."
