It was Disney Channel-palooza at the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday when dozens of stars descended upon the red carpet to inaugurate the first ever Radio Disney Music Awards. With performances by Selena Gomez, Bridgit Mendler and Cody Simpson, just to name a few, and appearances by folks like Jason Derulo, Bella Thorne and Ariana Grande, the awards were the hottest ticket in town among the teen set.
"I’m excited to see Bridgit perform," said her Good Luck Charlie co-star Jason Dolley. "I’ve actually never seen her, I’ve never been to one of her shows. She’s always traveling. She’s always out of town. I mean I’ve heard her sing, obviously, but I’ve never seen her perform."

Others were psyched to catch the performance by Disney Channel graduate Selena.
"I’m excited to see Selena," said A.N.T. Farm's Stefanie Scott, who stunned in a high-low Dalia MacPhee gown (that happened to be vegan!). " I think she’s a sweetheart. I’ve always looked up to her so I hope to see her."

Since music was on everyone's mind, the big question had to be—what are you listenign to?
"'Let’s Go' by Matt & Kim—it’s my jam," admits Stefanie. "I love that song. Every time I’m in the car on my way to work in the morning we blast it and roll the windows down."

Cody Simpson, who performed his latest single "Pretty Brown Eyes" at the show, rattled off his current playlist.
"I’ve got a bit of Gorillaz, Jack Johnson, a bit of Donavon Frankenreiter, a bit of JT," said the Aussie crooner.
But the most eclectic playlist award of the night has to go to singer Ryan Beatty.
"I’m listening to a lot of older music right now, like Electric Light Orchestra, James Taylor and a lot of alternative bands like Beach Fossils and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, a bunch of different kinds of music," said the YouTube music sensation.

Dancing with the Stars pro Val Chmerkovskiy was in attendance to support his celeb dance partner Zendaya and admitted the awards are a very different scene than he's accustomed.
"It’s a lot of…too much swag, even for me," says Val. "It’s great. This is young Hollywood. I don’t know young Hollywood. I wasn’t young enough to experience this. But I’m excited, there’s a lot of talent and this is the future. This is the future of this business and this industry and it’s really interesting to witness it in the making process. A lot of these kids are already stars but it’s a long road ahead of them."
