What's Pelota Anyway?
I’m working in the NYC office today. American Idol cast-off Jorge “When I get excited I can barely think in English,” Nunez just stopped by. Ah, the things I miss when I’m not in NYC. I also walked out to get lunch without a coat – and was quickly reminded of what I miss when not in LA – sunshine.
In any case…Gracious that I get to spend time on both coasts and so happy that I’m in NYC today to go see my good friend Dhani Jones at his big premiere.
You may know Dhani as an NFL player, currently on the Cincinnati Bengals (previously the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles), but I, not so well-versed in football, know him just as an adventurous spirit and fun friend. Through his Five Star Bowties Dhani has aimed to turn a world of boys into gentleman, one tie at a time. Through his new TV show “Dhani Tackles the Globe” (premiere at 9pm EST tonight on the Travel Channel), Dhani is aiming to show how traditional sports help define cultures around the world. And I thought the universal language was music.
