When Can We Expect Lynne Spears' Book?

Ever since OK! that Britney Spears' mother, Lynne Spears, would be penning a memoir based on her experiences raising two of Hollywood's brightest young stars, the book has been shrouded in speculation about its content — Is it a tell-all? Or a how-to? — and now, there seems to be some confusion about the book's release date.

Earlier today, the website for tabloid mag Us Weekly reported that the memoir, titled Through the Storm, would hit the bookstore shelves on Aug. 21, almost a month ahead of the original street date. However, they should have done some fact checking — a source inside Thomas Nelson, the book's publisher, confirms to OK! that Lynne's first stab at writing will indeed hit stands as planned on Sept. 16.
