Where Are They Now? Bo Bice

Before Chris Daughtry, there was Bo Bice. The long-haired rocker proved no match for Carrie Underwood at the end of American Idol's fourth season, but he did prove to be "The Real Thing" outside of the Idol arena.
Bo's "Inside Your Heaven," the Idol coronation song, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Singles, dethroning Carrie's rendition and becoming the first time a second version of a song trumped the original in Billboard history. Equally successful was his first album, The Real Thing, which opened at No. 4—becoming the seventh-highest opening for a debut album by an Idol finalist.

After overcoming health ailments—he was sidelined after undergoing two intestinal surgeries in 2005 and 2006—Bo went indie and released his second disc, See the Light, last year. The 32-year-old, who resides in Nashville with wife Caroline and 2-year-old son Aiden, is currently on tour in support of the effort.
