Where Are They Now? William Hung

Since his Idol days in 2004 when he sang Ricky Martin’s “She Bangs,” William Hung has certainly prolonged his 15 minutes of fame. The third season vet who said he wants to make music his living, has dabbled on the small screen over the past few years. In February 2006, William played himself on Arrested Development and was made a character on MTV’s Celebrity Deathmatch where he battled Ricky Martin. It may be 2008 and four seasons later, but this New Jersey native already has some appearances in the works for this year including an appearance at Atlantic City’s Surf Stadium on July 3. The unlikely star signed with Koch Records for a reported $25,000 advance and has recorded three album: Inspiration, Miracle and his festive collection, Hung For The Holidays. William, now 25, attends the CSU Northridge University.
