RadarOnline reports the last person to see the Grammy winner alive was her assistant. The assistant told Whitney to take a bath to get ready for the pre-Grammys party thrown by Clive Davis.

After the assistant ran to Neiman Marcus for an errand, she went into the bathroom and "found the decedent lying face down in the bathtub, unresponsive, with the top of her head facing west."

The report continues that the bathtub was filled with water; water was also on the bathroom floor but the water itself wasn't running. The assistant called the bodyguard and both of them pulled Whitney out of the tub. Then they called 911.

Although the coroner's report indicated there weren't any signs of foul play, cocaine was found in the bathroom. "Located on the south portion of the counter was a small spoon with a white crystal substance in it and a rolled up piece of white paper, along with other miscellaneous items. Located in the top drawer in the north side of the counter were remnants of a white powdery substance and a portable mirror on a base. On the bottom of that base were more remnants of a white powdery substance."

The autopsy also revealed she had a perforated nasal septum and atherosclerotic heart disease whereby plaque builds up inside the arteries.

Toxicology testing ultimately "showed cocaine, benzoylecgonice, cocaethylene, marijuana, Xanax, Flexiril, and Benadryl... Death was due to drowning due to effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use. No foul play is suspected. The mode of death is accident."
