Saturday Night Live's Seth Meyers was a favorite to get the coveted morning show gig but he told The Orlando Sun-Sentinal that he would not be able to do it because he has his hands full with other roles.

"I know Regis's replacement is a very important thing down there," he said. "But, right now, what I would say to you: I'm really in love with the job I have. I'm very excited to be going back to SNL for the election season, which is always fun."

Although Kelly's hunky husband of 16 years, Mark Consuelos, has sat in with his wife on many occasions, the bubbly blonde has said that there is no way their relationship could withstand also working together every day.

"No one would make me happier than Mark, but he values our marriage," the 41-year-old said. "He says that he doesn't see how we could stay married and both do that show."

LIVE! with Kelly will debut its new season on Sept. 3, with Kelly hosting solo once last time.

Claire Danes and American Idol winner Phillip Phillips will be guests on the new host's debut show the next day.
