Fresh off his run as The Elephant Man at a Massachusetts playhouse, it's now rumored Bradley Cooper is in talks to romance Beyoncé in the fourth remake of A Star is Born.

The plot centers around a has-been rocker who falls head over heels for an up and coming performer. Director Clint Eastwood is reportedly keen on Bradley playing the part of the aging artist, a character based off who Kurt Cobain might be today had he survived his 1994 suicide attempt.
While Bey has long been cast as the fresh face on the rise, it's been a bit more tough to find a suitable A-lister for the has-been role.
Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale and Will Smith have all passed, leaving Bradley as Clint's number one pick.

A Star is Born was originally released in 1937, again in 1954 starring Judy Garland and for a third time in 1976 with Barbra Streisand in the title role.

Bradley won't confirm yet, however, as he's pretty booked in the coming year shooting the last Hangover movie and a thriller, Bad Blood and Trouble.
