If you were blown away by The Good Wife's fifth season finale, well you aren't the only one. Even series guest star Carrie Preston (that's lawyer Elsbeth Tascioni to loyal viewers) couldn't believe the show went there. OK! caught up with the in-demand actress to find out if she'll be back for season six and what's on her TV these days.

OK!: Do you know if we'll see Elsbeth on The Good Wife next season?
Carrie Preston: I have no idea. If it were up to me I would be in every episode! But obviously they have a lot of characters to serve. I do hope, fingers crossed, that they’re going to bring me back for some more. The finale knocked my socks off because I didn’t know it was coming. I haven’t been on the show since earlier in the season. It was exciting to see how much they continue to shake it up. In my opinion season five has been their best season so far. I feel honored that I’m a part of that show.

OK!: If you could create your own storyline, what would you like to see happen for her?
CP: Now that they’re doing this thing where Diane wants to go over with Florrick Agos and what’s going to happen with Lockhart Gardner I’m thinking, “Well, they’re going to need lawyers to have cases who are either supporting them or against them so it would be fun to have Elsbeth be brought in in either of those situations. Elsbeth is always the good guy who saves the day but what if she’s opposing all of the heroes in the show? How would that be for her? How would that be for them?

OK!: What do you love to watch?
CP: I love Scandal, I love Nashville—I love shows that have strong female protagonists. And it seems like there are a lot of shows that have just been picked up with female protagonists with Debra Messing and Tea Leoni and I’m rooting for those shows.
