Will Ferrell Gets a Temp Gig on 'The Office'

It's still a tough economy so like many Americans who land temporary gigs, so too, does Will Ferrell. Kind of. The comedian will join The Office for four episodes later this season. As for his role? A branch manager from the home office who is just as clueless as Steve Carell's character!

The hilarious Anchorman co-stars will team up prior to Steve's departure from the show. Basically, they'll appear in three episodes together and then Will and The Office gang will appear in one episode sans Steve.

Executive producer Paul Lieberstein tells Entertainment Weekly, "We found Steve Carell when he was nothing but a movie star and we turned him into a television star." He adds, "We are proud to continue The Office's tradition of discovering famous talent, and we hope that once America gets a good look at Will, they'll see what we see: tremendous raw sexuality."
