MTV News reported that after Will and Adam McKay's negotiations with Paramount fell through, they've now caught up with Will to get an update.
So now that there is such vocal support from fans, is Will optimistic Anchorman 2 will ever hit screens?
"Nope," Will answered while promoting Everything Must Go at the Toronto International Film Festival. "Paramount, which is owned by your MTV's parent company, Viacom — so maybe chairman Sumner Redstone can get involved here in this — but they seem indifferent to any sort of public outcry for this."
