The Los Angeles Times indicates the Academy has been tossing around his name as a possible host for the 85th Academy Awards. It would be produced by Lorne Michaels, the Saturday Night Live veteran who also happens to be the executive producer of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

There's one slight snag to the plan: ABC broadcasts the Oscars and Jimmy's show airs on NBC, so we'll have to see how this all plays out. The Academy elected Hawk Koch its new president earlier this week, and it seems confirming a producer and host is at the top on the agenda.
After Jimmy showcased his hosting chops during the Emmy Awards two years ago, it seems like he would be fab for the gig! Do you agree? If not, who do you think should host Hollywood's biggest night? Sound off below!
