At last night’s Ambassadors of Rock Tour featuring at the Hard Rock Times Square, which was held to support the Sustainable Biodiesel Alliance, who co-founded the alliance stopped to talk to OK! about the importance of biodiesel.
She said, “Basically an organization that’s an accreditation for bio fuel so you know where you’re bio fuel is coming from. Every choice we make is important. The best thing to do is think about the long-term ramifications and the short term. It just makes sense.”
The man of the night, Willie Nelson, also took a few moments out to talk to OK! The country music legend told OK! “I have no idea what I’m going to play tonight. It’s impromptu. Who knows what’s going to happen?”
But he never forgot what brought him out to play, the foundation, which his wife Annie helped found. “I’ve been using it for years on buses and trucks. We’ve been using everything from soy beans to vegetable oil.”

“I think more people are wanting to get involved. More people re knowing first of all how important it is that we grow our own fuel so that we don’t have to go around the world looking for it. People now are thinking about the food they’re eating so they’re putting two and two together,” he said.
As for what music fans can expect from Willie the music legend? “I have a new song I’m doing tonight called “peaceable solutions.” It’s kind of a fight song. So it’s good.”
He later brought down the house playing to a jam-packed audience of Willie’s biggest fans- both famous and not famous! By Jocelyn Vena
