On Oct. 9, artist, musician and activist , widow of slain Beatles legend John Lennon, will unveil the Imagine Peace Tower in Videy Island, Reykjavik, Iceland.
According to the Web site for the tower, ImaginePeace.com, the memorial will "shine as a beacon for World Peace." John's former bandmate will be on hand for the unveiling of the Tower, as will Olivia Harrison, widow of late Beatles guitarist, and fellow advocate for peace, George Harrison. As yet, it remains to be seen whether or not Paul McCartney will make the trip to Iceland for the ceremony, though those involved in the project tell OK! that they are hopeful.
