Talk show host Steve Harvey revealed some shocking news this week—he was homeless for three years! While the star now has lavish abodes in both Chicago and Atlanta, in the late 80's Steve called his 1976 Ford Tempo home.
After his divorce from first-wife Marcia, the comedian shares that he was living paycheck to paycheck. He was also sending a majority of his income home to support his two children. Then, "one or two gigs fell through, and suddenly I was homeless," Steve explained to People magazine. He continued by stating that he would turn to hotel bathrooms, gas stations and swimming pool showers to clean up and created a makeshift refrigerator out of an Igloo cooler!

Steve ended by noting, "It was so disheartening. A week is really the maximum you can do. This was three years! It was rock bottom. But even in my darkest days I had faith it would turn around." We're happy the celeb is now happily re-married, the father of seven children and has a booming career!
