Zac Efron Next in Line for Nicholas Sparks Film?

Zac Efron is one lucky guy. The young star is reportedly in talks to star in the next Nicholas Sparks novel-turned-film, The Lucky One.

According to New York Magazine's Vulture, Zac is in negotiations to star as the leading man in the adaptation of Spark's novel, The Lucky One.
The Lucky One tells the story of a former Marine who returns to North Carolina after three tours in Iraq. He then searches for a woman in a random photograph that he believes was his good-luck charm that helped him through the second Gulf War.

The film is being produced by Denise DiNovi, who already produced Sparks' Message in a Bottle, A Walk to Remember and Nights in Rodanthe.
As the seventh book to make it to the big screen, Zac would be joining Kevin Costner, Shane West, Ryan Gosling, Richard Gere, Channing Tatum and Liam Hemsworth as Nicolas Sparks' leading men.
